The star is for the "helpful" energy of the young employee - it's a gift 😂 IK Peoria is a big Small city. IYKYK. Albiet, you're telling me that BB has employees telling customers "I wouldn't suggest getting ANY laptop less than $1K" 🤣 I laughed inside so hard. Our youngest is heading to college. I wish I would spend over $1k on her 1st laptop for freshman year. GEN Z will be putting businesses out of business 😭 Now picture my teen daughter looking at $700 laptops, wondering why it isn't a good computer. I wanted to get this over w so bad, I would've paid cash that day. When he said THAT & continued to talk her out of $500 (on sale) to $699 laptops. Sir !!!!? 😑 Then I knew this wasn't where we should make the purchase. The last thing we need is our daughter dealing w that location if she needs something fixed for school w us in a diff state. After protection, accessories + tax , it would be close to $1k. When our 17 y.o. becomes a Jr in her MJR. ok. Our college students hv an apartment, tuition, food, and books to pay for. We decided to order it directly. Good grades constitute Upgrades in our household. There were many great options that we were talked out of. Best Buy is a din

Friendly staff, was very quick and professional! Would have rated 5 stars but somehow one of the items got shipped to a Florida instead of here! They kindly switched it to ahip to my place but later it was automatically canceled somehow? This in turn made me miss the sale on the item and when I had to buy it somewhere else it was already at full price again. So 4/5 stars but not because of this place but because of Best Buy online. Would highly recommend despite what happened though

I had an issue with my laptop, and needed to send it in for repairs. Aaron was really helpful for the initial check-ins, and when they sent it back without repairing it, Aaron was really helpful in getting it sent back out. Then my laptop came in, and Malachi went above and beyond helping me with it, with Adrian finishing the check out for me. I really appreciated all the employees who helped, they were all professional and went out of their way to help me with all the problems I was having.

The new store is nice and usually the staff is helpful and willing to come talk to you. The biggest issue is inventory. The inventory of surrounding Best Buy’s such as Bloomington seems to be much better and if you are willing to drive they may actually have your items in stock. If they could improve their inventory this store would be a great one. I prefer brick and mortar and being able to pick something up when I need it, and have time to work on it. This is my only real issue with the local Best Buy. Other than lack of inventory it’s usually a good experience and has better staff than most stores.

Bought a tv through their no interest program in November and they were going to hold it for me for two days. They then sold it when I came back. I then cancelled the order as I told the rep to and I got something else. 4 months later with multiple calls and 5 visits to the store and a call with citi bank, nothing has been done. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I have had in retail. To date, this matter is still unresolved. There has been little to no ownership taken to fix a problem they created. Bestbuy was quick to take my money, but when it came time to resolving the issue, the follow-through simply is not there. They have provided me a refund receipt and that was the most they’ve done. I’m still being billed and I don’t know what to do now since the card member services team is useless (told me the store needs to fix this), the store sent me to citi bank and citi bank said it would take the about 60-90 days. Cit bank said that the location who initially sold me the item is who can fix this. Bestbuy is striking me along and I’ll be in Monday the amount of time this has taken has been absolutely insane.
